This early harvest extra virgin olive oil has a robustly fresh, green, peppery taste on the palate. Grown, cold-pressed and bottled in Butte County, this local star has already taken home a Gold Medal at the California State Fair and Silver Medals at the New York International Olive Oil Competition, Los Angeles International Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition and Central Coast Olive Oil Competition in 2018.
From the Kitchen: As the Early Harvest is a flavor-forward pressing, we suggest letting the oil shine by adding dried herbs for dipping rustic bread; using it in homemade pesto spooned over hot fettuccini and lightly steamed seasonal vegetable spears; or adding it to any robust Italian or Spanish dish, including (our favorite!) paella.
